Dien Bien completed the new term Congress of Farmers' Association at commune and ward levels

Dien Bien has successfully organized 45/45 Commune and Ward Farmers' Association Congresses, completing 100% of the plan, towards the Provincial Congress for the 2025-2030 term.

Dien Bien Provincial Farmers' Association successfully organized the Farmers' Association Congress in 45/45 communes and wards, achieving 100% of the set plan. This is an important preparation step towards the 11th Provincial Farmers' Association Congress, term 2025-2030.

The Congress of the Farmers' Association at the commune and ward levels is a broad political activity for cadres and members, aiming to evaluate the results of the Association's work and the farmers' movement in the past term; at the same time, determine the direction, goals and key tasks for the next term, in accordance with the requirements of developing ecological agriculture, modern rural areas and civilized farmers.

Mr. Tran Quy Hung, Chairman of the Farmers’ Association of Dien Bien province, said: The success of the grassroots congress demonstrates the spirit of solidarity, democracy and innovation in the entire Association system. This is an opportunity for the staff and members to review the results, affirming the role of the Association in developing the agricultural economy , building new rural areas and protecting the ecological environment.

At the congresses, leaders of the Provincial Farmers' Association directly attended, directed, and suggested many important contents such as: innovating the Association's operation methods, promoting science and technology transfer, building agricultural cooperatives according to value chains, promoting digital transformation in production and consumption of agricultural products, promoting OCOP products and local specialties.

Completing 100% of the Congresses at the commune and ward levels demonstrates the careful preparation and close direction of the Association at all levels, creating a solid foundation for the 11th Congress of the Farmers' Association of Dien Bien province, opening a new, more sustainable and effective development period.
