At the Congress, the Organizing Committee announced the decision to merge the two Traditional Martial Arts Federations of Binh Thuan and Lam Dong provinces, according to the decision of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. The merger creates the foundation for the formation of the Lam Dong Traditional Martial Arts Federation, Term I, unifying the organization, forces and professional activities in the region.


Lam Dong Province Traditional Martial Arts Federation is a professional social organization that gathers organizations and individuals who voluntarily love and practice traditional martial arts to improve health, develop sports talents, and constantly improve professional achievements, contributing to the development of physical education and sports for Lam Dong province.

Speaking at the opening of the Congress, Mr. Luong The Dien, interim Chairman of the Lam Dong Traditional Martial Arts Federation, said that in recent years, with the attention of leaders at all levels, the support of the Vietnam Traditional Martial Arts Federation, and the dedication of martial artists and coaches, the traditional martial arts movement in Lam Dong has achieved many proud results. Many associations, branches, martial arts companies, clubs, and martial arts schools have been established and are operating actively. Many athletes have achieved high results in regional and national competitions. In particular, the merger and unification of martial arts units in the region has created a strong, united, and promising Lam Dong Traditional Martial Arts Federation.
With the spirit of "Solidarity - Inheritance - Development - Integration", Lam Dong Traditional Martial Arts Federation will continue to promote the spirit of loyalty - resilience - humanity, contributing to training a well-rounded person, building a healthy cultural life and actively contributing to the development of sports and culture of the province.
The Congress unanimously approved the direction and tasks of the Lam Dong Traditional Martial Arts Federation, term I, 2025 - 2030. In the new term, the Federation aims to continue to inherit the achieved results, while at the same time innovating the method of operation towards professionalism and sustainability, gradually bringing the province's traditional martial arts movement to the national level. In addition, the Federation focuses on developing martial arts movements in schools, armed forces and youth, promoting training, performance, concerts, and martial arts music activities at clubs, cultural houses, sports centers and residential areas, contributing to spreading the spirit of martial arts in the community.

The Congress approved a number of key targets for the 2025 - 2030 term, focusing on training and fostering a team of coaches and martial artists with good capacity and moral qualities, striving to select 5 - 10 people each year to participate in professional training courses and national referees. The Federation aims to have 100/124 wards, communes and special zones with clubs or regular training points by the end of the term; maintain and develop the movement with more than 3,500 martial artists, including over 2,000 official members. In addition, each year it will organize 1 - 2 Open Traditional Martial Arts Club Cups, at the same time discovering, selecting and nurturing young talents to supplement the provincial team to compete in regional and national tournaments.

Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Huynh Ngoc Tam, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong province, praised the efforts and positive results that the Provincial Traditional Martial Arts Federation has achieved in the past time, especially the organization of many diverse activities, contributing to spreading the spirit of sports training in the community. He suggested that in the next term, the Federation should continue to strengthen the organization, perfect the apparatus and operating regulations to improve efficiency and promote the responsibility of the members of the Executive Committee.
The Federation needs to have effective solutions to promote the widespread development of traditional martial arts, strive to have forces participating in the National Sports Festival in 2026, and successfully complete targets in both grassroots sports and high-performance sports.

At the same time, focus on developing movements among youth, pupils and students to discover and nurture young talents; expand traditional martial arts tournaments of the province, pay attention to training a team of coaches, athletes and referees with high professional qualifications and good moral qualities, meeting the development requirements of the traditional martial arts movement in the new period.

After 2 working days, the Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Lam Dong Traditional Martial Arts Federation for the 2025 - 2030 term with 55 members, including a Standing Committee of 12 people and an Inspection Committee of 6 people. Martial arts master Luong The Dien was elected by the Congress to hold the position of Chairman of the Lam Dong Traditional Martial Arts Federation for the first term.
