FIRST Global Challenge is considered the world's largest Robotics Olympiad. This year's competition took place from October 29 to November 1 in Panama, attracting nearly 190 countries and territories to participate. In 2025, the competition's theme is "Eco Equilibrium", aiming to restore ecosystems, protect biodiversity and restore balance to the earth.
After many rounds of competition, the Vietnamese team won the Silver medal; the Venezuelan team won the Gold medal, and the host team Panama won the Bronze medal.
The Vietnam Robotics Team consists of 10 students, of which 5 were selected to compete in Panama. The team brought to the competition a message about environmental protection. The members believe that the journey with robotics is not only a conquest of technology but also an opportunity to connect science with core issues of the world.

Through the creative language and STEM spirit, the team introduces the richness of Vietnam’s nature closer to the international community. This journey is not only a step forward in technology but also affirms that technology is only truly meaningful when it goes hand in hand with responsibility for the environment and life.
The Vietnam Robotics Team has left its mark as a young, courageous and enthusiastic group. Each member carries within them a spirit of connection and continuous learning. More than an achievement, it is a journey to spread Vietnamese pride, when the aspirations and passion of youth are ignited in the international technology arena.

Nguyen Nguyen Khoi, a 12A2 student at Huynh Thuc Khang High School in Da Nang City, is the Vietnam Robotics Ambassador for Spring 2025; won second prize in the 2025 National Science and Technology Competition; first prize in the STEM Innovation Competition for Smart Cities and many other awards in science and technology.
FIRST Global Challenge is an international, Olympic-style robotics competition held each year in a different country. Each team builds and programs a robot to tackle 14 technical challenges related to major human issues, thereby promoting the spirit of learning and global cooperation among young people.
