Lam Dong declares emergency situation regarding natural disasters on 2 national highways

Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee has just issued a Decision to declare a natural disaster emergency situation for National Highway 20, section Km262+400 - Km262+530 and National Highway 28, section Km47+252 - Km54+000 in the province.

From October 26 to 30, 2025, due to the impact of heavy and prolonged rains, National Highway 20 section from Km262+400 - Km262+530 (D'Ran Pass suspension bridge area) in Xuan Truong ward - Da Lat and National Highway 28 section from Km47+252 - Km53+600 in Son Dien commune experienced landslides and cracks in the roadbed and surface structure, causing traffic congestion.

The current landslide sites do not ensure safety for people and vehicles; at the same time, there is a risk of further landslides occurring if emergency response measures are not promptly taken.
