The Indonesian national futsal team set a Southeast Asian record for attendance, with 15,337 people attending the international friendly match between Indonesia and Australia at the Indonesia Arena (Jakarta) on November 1, within the framework of FIFA Match Day.
According to a VNA reporter in Jakarta, the number of spectators attending this match was recorded as the highest in the history of Futsal in Southeast Asia. Fueled by the enthusiastic atmosphere in the stands, the “Garuda” team started enthusiastically and won 3-1 against Australia.
Sharing with the media, Games of Society CEO - Mr. Novel Leonardo, said this is an important milestone, marking a more professional, quality and attractive step forward for Indonesian Futsal.
According to him, the current goal of Games of Society is not only to set a record for the number of spectators, but also to bring the best experience to both live viewers and viewers watching via online platforms.
In addition to the international friendly match, Indonesia Arena also hosted the Futsal Series 2025 final between SMA 1 Ciruas Tasikmalaya and SMKN 2 Surabaya. As a result, SMA 1 Ciruas Tasikmalaya won a narrow 2-1 victory, thereby winning the championship for the first time.
