Right from the beginning of 2023, the District People's Committee has identified goals and been proactive in leadership, direction and operation, with the joint efforts of all levels, sectors, agencies, units, businesses and people in the whole district. Therefore, in 2023, many positive results were achieved, political security, social order and safety were maintained. The district continues to synchronously implement administrative reform, focusing on reforming the apparatus according to Resolution No. 18, deploying the construction of e-government, applying digital signature software and document management software. The district continues to direct specialized agencies and People's Committees of communes and towns to implement online public services at levels 3 and 4; digitizing input and output records in receiving and handling 100% of administrative procedures. Binh Giang district is implementing many projects on transportation and urban areas. Invest in some key traffic projects such as provincial road 395, Sat river overpass, coordinate with the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board to implement some traffic projects such as the North-South axis road, Luong Dien-Cam Dien service road.
With the motto of focusing on the grassroots, the leaders of the Party Committee and the government have done a good job of contacting and dialogue with the people. They have promptly listened to the people's thoughts and aspirations, thereby taking timely measures to resolve and handle them.
In 2023, Binh Giang has successfully completed the economic plan targets. The economic growth rate of some key sectors in the district increased compared to the same period. Of which, agriculture and fishery increased by 2.2%; industry and handicraft increased by 16%; construction increased by 15.1%; trade and services increased by 13.3%. Average income per capita reached 67 million VND/person/year.
2024 is the 4th year of implementing the Resolution of the 28th District Party Congress, promoting the results achieved in 2023. The district strives for an increase in agricultural production value of 1-2%; industrial-construction production value of 14-16%; trade and service value of 14-15%. The economic structure of agriculture-industry and services reaches 10.1-52.8-37.1%. Budget revenue increases by 10% compared to the plan assigned by the province. Average income per capita reaches 74 million VND/person/year. Carry out the task of planning the Binh Giang district area until 2030, with a vision to 2050.
Identifying 2024 as a year of special significance to accelerate the implementation of the goals and tasks set out in the Resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels and successfully implementing the annual working theme of the province and the district, successfully implementing programs, projects, and socio-economic development goals requires the entire Party Committee, government, departments, branches, organizations, and people in the whole district to continue to strengthen solidarity, unanimity, join hands, and be unanimous, innovate strongly, be dynamic and creative, and strive with the highest sense of responsibility. The People's Committee of Binh Giang district resolutely directs, prioritizes resources, and accelerates the implementation of breakthrough solutions in the construction and development of synchronous infrastructure, focusing on traffic infrastructure, residential infrastructure, industrial parks and clusters.
