The area of rice cultivated by machines in Tu Ky increased by 136 hectares.

The machine-transplanted tray plating model in Tu Ky gives 7-10% higher productivity than manual planting using yard plating.

According to the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Tu Ky district, localities with large areas of rice transplanted by machines are An Thanh, Quang Trung, Tan Ky, Minh Duc... Tu Ky district also encourages communes to deploy a combination of the machine-planted tray seedling model with production linkage and consumption of ST25 rice varieties in An Thanh commune and Q5 in Minh Duc commune.

This winter-spring crop, the economic efficiency of rice transplanted by machine in Tu Ky district is 7-10% higher than manual transplanting by yard, with fewer pests and diseases. The whole district has more than 30 rice transplanters of various types purchased by cooperatives and households to serve production.

Up to now, Tu Ky district has completed planting the entire area.
