Before playing Linh in Gió ngang khoang troi xanh , I filmed another role in a film by director Bùi Tiến Huy, scheduled to air in November. After that, I filmed Linh. Both roles gave me the opportunity to return to the camera, to temporarily escape from the reality of life every time I went to the set. I was truly happy every day I had a filming schedule. 2 roles, 2 personalities, 2 fates, all interesting, very feminine and instinctive.

- The audience is excited about Lan Phuong's character Linh because she just appeared but brought positive energy, even a bit of silliness that they had seen in the role of Ngoc Ha in "Gia dinh minh vui bat buc luat" 2 years ago. Lan Phuong herself feels like she has anything in common with this character?

Linh and I are probably similar in that we both have positive, cheerful energy and have hidden corners in life that make us both try to protect that vulnerable part from life. We both appear to be strong and resilient in everything in life, but inside we are still a child in need of healing.

The actress has just returned to single life at the age of 42.

- The audience predicts that Linh will be the third person to interfere in Dang and My Anh's relationship. Are you mentally prepared to receive criticism for this role?

While filming, I was often a little worried about how the audience would react and be identified with the character. But I found Linh more interesting, so those worries quickly passed.

- The film marks the reunion of you and Doan Quoc Dam after the role of husband and wife in "Gia dinh minh vui bat thuc luat" and you and Phuong Oanh since "Nang dau order", what is special about this reunion of 3 people in 1 film? Is there any scene that you remember the most?

I accepted this role partly because I was acting with Dam. After 2 years, it was interesting to act again with a co-star who had worked well together in the previous film. The same goes for Oanh, from Nang dau order , now we will meet again but in very different circumstances.

I felt so wronged that I burst into tears in the middle of the film set.

- Since the previous film, Lan Phuong has had many changes in her life when she became a mother for the second time, then divorced. Up to this point, have you calmed down and are you ready for a new life with your children?

I have been ready for a new life since I brought my two children back to Hanoi at the beginning of this year!

- The 15-day appeal period after the first instance trial has passed. It is unclear whether your ex-husband will appeal and claim custody of one of the two children. How does Lan Phuong plan to continue her new life after the breakup?

I just received the news that David (Lan Phuong's ex-husband's name - PV) appealed to the Court of Appeal. I look forward to the day when I will be completely free to start a new life for myself and my two children.

- Looking back over the past months, when Lan Phuong made public her personal issues and faced public opinion, was there a time when you felt tired and wanted to give up?

The moment I felt most defeated was the day after the first trial. Although I had custody of my two children, the news was inaccurate, and unofficial news sites used sensational headlines that took the story far from its true nature, along with the opposing lawyer posting a winning or losing tone, affirming that they would meet me at the appeal.

So, as soon as my colleague said a few words to share, I felt so sorry that I burst into tears in the middle of the filming set. I felt like my heart was broken, I wanted to faint. But then I was fine, still strong, doing everything I like and taking care of my child as best as I can.

Lan Phuong goes to the gym, dances and plays the piano to balance her life.

- Lan Phuong once shared that she had serious health problems, but recently the audience has seen her become more active, learning to dance, going to the gym, always appearing with an optimistic smile. Is that what you want to aim for or are trying to achieve?

It is true that when you are under constant stress, your health will be greatly affected, so I need to do many activities to separate myself from that stress. I practice many subjects, sometimes even practice piano as a way to find myself physically, mentally, and spiritually, and to be able to look at life with a fresher and more sincere perspective.
