'Tuesday Town Police, An Bien District ( Kien Giang ) is investigating the case of a 10th grade male student being beaten by a group of young men, requiring hospitalization.

On November 30, news from the Tuesday Town Police, An Bien District (Kien Giang) said that the unit is investigating the case of a 10th grade male student being 'beaten up' by a group of young men.

The victim is D.PVS (grade 10, An Bien High School), being treated at the neurosurgery department, Kien Giang Provincial General Hospital.

According to records, the child is now conscious. However, there are still bruises on his face and back; scratches on his mouth, frequent coughing, sharp chest pain, slight swelling in the back of his neck, and he has to lie on his side.

According to initial information, at around 8:00 p.m. on September 28, D.PVS returned from martial arts class and sat down to enjoy the cool breeze on Nguyen Van Linh Street, in Thu Ba Town. At this time, three strange young men riding a motorbike passed by, looked at S., then stopped to make a phone call.

A while later, when S. was on his way home, about 6-7 young men chased after him, knocked his bike over, and then beat, punched, and kicked him repeatedly with their feet, hands, and helmets. After assaulting S. for about 7-8 minutes, the group of young men left, and S. immediately called his father for help.

Mr. D.VP (S.'s father) said that when he ran to the scene, he saw his son sluggish, with scratches on his body; his motorbike and helmet were badly damaged. Immediately after, he called the police and took his son to An Bien District Medical Center. That same evening, An Bien District Medical Center transferred S. to Kien Giang Provincial General Hospital.

The case of a male student being "beaten up by a group" is being investigated and handled by the Tuesday City Police according to the law.
