Prime Minister: Building inter-level boarding schools with love for education

The groundbreaking ceremony was broadcast live and online at 4 locations, simultaneously starting and inaugurating large-scale projects and works, meaningfully welcoming the 20th Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Congress.

Groundbreaking ceremony of Bat Mot Primary - Secondary Boarding School, one of 6 border schools in Thanh Hoa province to start construction in 2025, implemented according to the conclusion of the Politburo on investing in the construction of 248 primary and secondary boarding schools in the mainland border communes.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended the groundbreaking ceremony of Bat Mot Primary - Secondary Boarding School.

Mr. Le Hong Sam, the school principal happily said: “ Bat Mot is a border commune, the terrain is very difficult to travel, students have to travel from 17 to 20 km to some villages. This is a very correct investment policy to help students have better learning conditions at the school.

In particular, in the 2018 general education program, the program teaches 2 sessions/day, when children stay at boarding school from Monday to Friday, this is a great guarantee to help children study better, helping parents feel more secure in their farm work at home .

Student La Huong Giang (grade 9) said: " I feel very happy because students in remote areas can stay at school from Monday to Friday without having to travel a long way home. When the new school was built, I felt very happy because there was a better learning environment and conditions."

Student Luong Bao Tram (grade 7) shared: " I am very happy for the children who are having difficulties in the flooded villages, they have endured a lot of hardship. I am very happy to be able to build and renovate the school ."

Speaking at the ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh expressed his joy and emotion at the groundbreaking and inauguration ceremony of large-scale and important projects and works in the area to welcome the 20th Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

The Prime Minister stated that investing in building boarding schools is of great significance in meeting the learning and living needs of students, a place to "sow letters, nurture knowledge, and symbolize the solidarity, affection and responsibility of the Party and State towards the people in the solid "fence" of the Fatherland.

The Prime Minister requested localities to closely coordinate in site clearance and mobilize socialized capital to ensure construction progress and quality, striving to complete before August 30, 2026.

“ Without inter-level boarding schools, many children cannot go to school, which is very miserable. Now we must have boarding schools so that all children can go to school. This is equality in education, “sowing letters for children”, “nurturing knowledge”, “lighting up dreams” for children” so that children can realize their aspirations. This is the responsibility of the State, the responsibility of society, the responsibility of the school, the responsibility of each of us.

Therefore, building a school must be done with all our heart, with all our purity, with all our love for our education and training career .

On this occasion, the Prime Minister presented the school with a painting of “Uncle Ho wearing a red scarf for students” of Bat Mot Primary and Secondary Boarding School. This is not only a meaningful gift, but also a symbol of the affection, trust and expectation that the Party and State send to teachers and students in the Bat Mot border area; a great source of encouragement, adding motivation for students to constantly strive to study, practice, and become useful citizens for their homeland and country.

The Prime Minister also presented meaningful gifts to families in difficult circumstances and households affected by natural disasters and floods in Yen Nhan and Bat Mot communes.

The Prime Minister also presented warm clothes as gifts to all 618 students of Bat Mot Primary and Secondary Boarding School.
