Suspend bottled water production activities of 4 facilities

4 companies including: Zila Vietnam Group Joint Stock Company, located at Lo Voi pond area, Bat Ngo village, Lien Bat commune, Ung Hoa district, were administratively fined 35 million VND and forced to recall Zila bottled water products (production date: September 18, 23; expiration date: September 18, 24).

Tuan Binh General Trading and Service Company Limited, located at Tan My residential group, My Dinh 1 ward, Nam Tu Liem district, was administratively fined 35 million VND and forced to recall Mori bottled water products (production date: August 29, 2023; expiration date: 12 months from the date of manufacture).

Avia Joint Stock Company, address CN06, Nguyen Khe Industrial Park, Dong Anh District, was also administratively fined 35 million VND and forced to recall AVIA 3A bottled water products (production date: September 14, 2023; expiration date: September 14, 2024, capacity 18.9 L).

Hau Nhan Trading and Service Company Limited, located at No. 6, Alley 4, Lane 34, Au Co, Quang An Ward, Tay Ho District, was administratively fined nearly 36 million VND and forced to recall Noarsen bottled water products (production date: September 15, 2023; expiration date: September 15, 2024). This company also consumed Noarsen bottled water products (production date: September 15, 2023; expiration date: September 15, 2024) that did not meet quality standards, with a total value of consumed violating food products of 405,000 VND.

These companies all violated the law by producing bottled water products that are subject to self-declaration of products, and all registered their business lines as producing non-alcoholic beverages and mineral water. However, the produced bottled water products have microbiological indicators that do not comply with technical regulation No. 6-1: 2010/BYT dated June 2, 2010 of the Ministry of Health .

Therefore, in addition to being administratively fined and having production suspended for 2 months, companies that commit violations must recall and be forced to change the purpose of use or recycle, or destroy batches of products that do not meet quality standards.
