According to a report from Hoang Dieu High School, after the end of the first period, during the 15-minute break on September 12, due to a collision, NVTH students beat NMĐ students.

When the second period started, the homeroom teacher learned about the incident and understood that the reason was that NMĐ students took pictures of NVTH and sent them to the homeroom teacher.

The school asked the two students to write a report on the incident; write a self-criticism; and write a pledge to not let the above incident happen again.

Parents of NMĐ students went to school to meet NVTH students; NVTH students apologized to NMĐ students' parents and were forgiven. On the evening of September 12, NVTH students' parents called to apologize to NMĐ students' parents; both sides agreed to work together to resolve the matter.

Hoang Dieu High School said it had also reported the incident to Hai Ba Trung District Police; at the same time, it suspended the student who beat his friend.

The Hanoi Department of Education and Training said it has requested Hoang Dieu High School in particular and other high schools in the city to strengthen measures to ensure school safety.

Schools should promptly grasp student problems right from the beginning of the school year to take measures to prevent andeducate , and not let school violence happen.
