During the National Day holiday on September 2, there were 5 traffic accidents and collisions in the whole province.

According to the report of the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee, during the National Day holiday on September 2 (from August 31 to September 3), the number of people and vehicles passing through the province increased dramatically, especially on key routes, areas and tourist attractions.

The Provincial Traffic Police force checks the compliance with the Road Traffic Law by vehicle drivers.

Promoting a positive and proactive spirit, during the holiday, the Traffic Police force of the Provincial Public Security and the police of districts, towns and cities closely coordinated with functional forces to mobilize maximum human resources and vehicles to set up checkpoints, guide, direct traffic, handle violations, and ensure traffic order and safety on routes, especially at some intersections, 3-way and 4-way intersections, where traffic volume is heavy.

Thanks to that, the traffic safety situation in the area was basically stable, with no serious traffic accidents or collisions and no prolonged traffic jams. However, during the 4-day holiday, there were 5 road traffic accidents and collisions in the province, killing 4 people and injuring 5 people (an increase of 2 cases, 2 deaths, and 3 injuries compared to the same period).

Traffic Police Force of Phu Ly City Police propagates to students to strictly comply with regulations on traffic safety and order.

Also during the holiday, the provincial Traffic Police organized 186 patrols and inspections with over 650 officers and soldiers participating. Through patrols and inspections, the authorities detected and recorded 453 cases of violations of road traffic safety, imposed fines of VND883 million, revoked driving licenses for 72 cases, and temporarily detained 118 vehicles of all types.
