On April 8, 2019, a delegation of experts from the Coady International Institute, led by Mr. Gordon Cunningham, Director of the Coady International Institute, paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Hoang Xuan Anh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Cao Bang Province. Also attending the reception were representatives of the Department of Foreign Affairs and the Coordination Board of the Business Support for Households (CSSP) project.

On behalf of the delegation of Coady International Institute, Mr. Gordon Cunningham introduced an overview of Coady International Institute Canada, the training course applying the ABCD approach to developing producer-led value chains; promoting the potential of each person in Cao Bang province and the cooperation opportunities between Cao Bang province and Coady International Institute in the future.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Xuan Anh welcomed the delegation's visit and work in Cao Bang province and expressed his wish to continue receiving attention, support and assistance from domestic and foreign development experts, especially experts from the Coady International Institute in the field of agricultural and rural development.

Through the specific contents of the project implemented in practice, it will contribute to raising people's awareness, actively contributing to the stages of: connecting, producing, consuming products as well as promoting the image of Cao Bang homeland.
