(MPI) - Continuing the working program in Ha Tinh province, on June 13, 2024, the Interdisciplinary Inspection Delegation for the Thach Khe Iron Ore Mining and Selection Project, Ha Tinh province, led by Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Do Thanh Trung, had a working session with the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province.

Attending the working session were the Interdisciplinary Inspection Delegation on the inspection of the implementation of the Party's policies and the State's laws and policies on investment, construction, minerals, environment and other relevant laws for the Thach Khe Iron Ore Mining and Selection Project, Ha Tinh province, invested by Thach Khe Iron Joint Stock Company according to Decision No. 1222/QD-BKHĐT dated May 29, 2024 of the Ministry of Planning and Investment. On the side of Ha Tinh province, there were Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Linh, Colonel Nguyen Hong Phong, Director of the Provincial Police Department and leaders of relevant departments and branches.
At the working session, the delegation of Ha Tinh province reported specifically on the contents of the Project from 2008 to present; specific recommendations and proposals. After that, members of the Interdisciplinary Inspection Team discussed and analyzed factors related to the Project such as the implementation of the Party's policies, the State's policies and laws on investment, enterprises, construction, minerals, environment and other relevant laws; Implementation of the Party's and Government's policies; Implementation of policies and laws on investment and enterprises; Implementation of policies and laws on construction; Implementation of policies and laws on minerals, mining safety; Implementation of policies and laws on environment; Implementation of policies and laws on land and other relevant laws.
Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Linh provided more specific information about the stages of the Project; representatives of leaders of departments and branches of Ha Tinh also answered and clarified the issues raised by members of the Interdisciplinary Inspection Team.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Do Thanh Trung highly appreciated the working spirit as well as the coordination of relevant departments and branches; at the same time, he requested Ha Tinh province to consolidate more information and documents to clarify the issues requested by the members of the Inspection Team so that the Team has a basis to build an assessment report and conclusions to report to competent authorities according to regulations.
On the same afternoon, Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Do Thanh Trung chaired a working session with Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group and Thach Khe Iron Joint Stock Company to discuss the requirements in Official Dispatch No. 4217/BKHĐT-KTCNDV dated May 31, 2024 of the Ministry of Planning and Investment./.
