At the meeting, a representative of Vietravel's Sydney office said that the office is currently focusing on selling tour packages from Australia to Vietnam with itineraries combining cultural, culinary , resort and nature exploration. The tour products are designed to suit the habits and tastes of Australian tourists, who prefer family vacations, convenient and accessible services that can be booked online. Grasping that trend, Vietravel has officially operated an online sales platform in the Australian market, helping customers easily learn, book tours and pay through digital channels. The unit's goal for 2025 is to achieve a growth rate of more than 200% in the number of Australian visitors to Vietnam compared to 2024, in the context of a strong market recovery and increasing demand for international tourism.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Dinh Van Thieu highly appreciated Vietravel's efforts in pioneering the opening of a representative office in Australia, a market with great potential. In the context of fierce competition in the global tourism industry, a direct presence in Sydney is a strategic move, not only contributing to promoting the image of Vietnamese tourism but also creating conditions for Khanh Hoa to more effectively approach the high-end tourist market from Oceania. "Khanh Hoa has clear advantages in natural conditions, tourism infrastructure and high-quality beach resort services. We expect the Vietravel Office in Sydney to be a bridge to spread the image of Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa to a large number of Australians, especially families and elderly tourists - segments with stable tourism demand and good spending power" - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dinh Van Thieu emphasized.

According to statistics from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the number of tourists from Australia to Khanh Hoa in 2023 and 2024 will reach 33,667 and 38,930 arrivals, respectively, showing a strong recovery and clear growth potential in the coming period.
