

Delegation of Nghe An province participating in the working delegation included comrades of the Provincial Party Executive Committee: Bui Dinh Long - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Thi Hong Hoa - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Thai Thi An Chung, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Nguyen Van Chi - Deputy Head of the National Assembly's Economic and Financial Committee; leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Party Building Commission, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee's Standing Committee, provincial departments, branches, units and a number of districts and cities.
From April 30 to May 6, the delegation visited and gave gifts to encourage officers, soldiers and people on the islands of Da Thi, Sinh Ton, Co Lin, Len Dao, Da Tay A, Truong Sa and DK1 Platform.

During the voyage, the delegation attended the parade and demonstration of force on Truong Sa Island; offered incense at the Monument to the heroic martyrs on Truong Sa Island, the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial House; held a memorial ceremony and offered incense to the heroic martyrs who fought and sacrificed to protect the sovereignty of the sea and islands in the waters of Gac Ma, Co Lin, Len Dao, and DK1 Platform; and burned incense at pagodas on the island. The delegation also presented practical and meaningful gifts to encourage officers, soldiers and people on the island.
Despite many difficulties in terms of conditions, weather, climate and complex situations in national defense and security, with extraordinary will and determination, officers, soldiers and people on Truong Sa archipelago and DK1 platform have persistently stuck to the sea and islands, day and night protecting the sea and territorial waters of the Fatherland; ensuring good defense work, environmental landscape and solidarity between the army and people.




The provincial delegation met and presented gifts to Nghe An officers and soldiers on duty on islands and island points in Truong Sa archipelago and visited and encouraged a number of households living on the islands.
The working trip was an opportunity for the delegates to gain a deeper understanding of the sacred sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland; to understand the silent contributions of the army and people here; to deeply feel the difficulties and hardships but always optimistic, resilient and warm-hearted of the Vietnamese people in the sea and islands in the southernmost part of the Fatherland.
