Hanoi will meet and honor exemplary journalists

The city will organize a conference to meet and honor outstanding journalists in the capital on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day and award prizes in the Writing Contest on advanced models, good people, good deeds in 2025.

On May 8, Permanent Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Le Hong Son signed and issued Plan No. 126/KH-UBND on organizing the Conference "Meeting and honoring typical journalists of the Capital" on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025) and Awarding the Writing Contest on advanced models, good people, good deeds in 2025.

This event aims to honor, commend and show gratitude to outstanding and outstanding journalists in the capital who have made many outstanding achievements and contributed positively to the construction and development of the capital.

The conference is expected to be held in mid-June 2025 with the participation of 150 - 180 delegates, including typical collectives and individuals recognized and rewarded by the city; authors with works winning prizes in writing contests about advanced models, good people and good deeds...

The City Journalists Association is the standing agency in charge of organizing the conference. The Association is assigned to coordinate with the City's Emulation and Rewards Committee to advise on drafting documents on the 2025 Competition Summary Report and selecting authors with award-winning articles and works and outstanding collectives and individuals to develop reports...
