This is the first Congress in the University and Academy Block.

The National Economics University Student Association has more than 22,000 students and 42 branches. During the last term, all levels of the Association have seriously and effectively implemented the goals and directions of the Association's work and the student movement set forth by the 18th Congress of the Student Association.

Notably, more than 1,500 students registered to strive to achieve the title of "5 Good Students" at all levels; 5 students achieved the title of "5 Good Students" at the Central level; 213 students achieved the title of "5 Good Students" at the city level; 811 students achieved the title of "5 Good Students" at the University level.

Student scientific research activities continue to be promoted with more than 600 scientific research topics of students winning school-level awards. Each school year, the school's Student Union admits more than 3,000 new members; introduces 276 outstanding students to join the Party.

With the slogan of action "National Economics University students: Firm in character - Rich in aspirations - Stepping forward to the future", for the 2025-2028 term, the Congress set out 7 directions, 9 targets; 1 breakthrough, 2 basic solutions. In which, the Association strives for 80% of members and students to participate in at least 5 volunteer days during the school year; 100% of affiliated Student Associations deploy and organize the selection of "5 Good Students"; annually admit at least 2,000 new members; introduce 400 members and students who are eligible to attend Party awareness training classes and at least 50 students are admitted to the Party each year...

Speaking at the Congress, Chairman of the Vietnam Student Association of Hanoi Nguyen Tien Hung highly appreciated the outstanding achievements and practical and diverse activities of the National Economics University Student Association in the past term.

Comrade Nguyen Tien Hung suggested that the Student Association of the school continue to promote intelligence and creativity in implementing movements to achieve efficiency in both quality and quantity, in line with the new stage, the era of national development. In particular, the Association focuses on educating students on revolutionary ideals, ethics, and cultural lifestyles; promoting the role, capacity, and strengths of students in scientific research; actively participating in the "Digital Education for the People" movement of the capital and the country. The Association needs to have activities and movements with its own unique colors, which are both economical and effective, and spread to other schools...

On behalf of the University Council, Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Duc Tho noted that the National Economics University Student Association should promote the pioneering and creative role of students, build a strong Student Association, innovate the organization model and form of operation of the Association in a more lively and attractive direction to attract and gather more and more students to participate...

The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Student Association of the National Economics University, term XIX, 2025-2028, consisting of 27 comrades, of which comrade Nguyen Duc Nhan is the President of the Association.
