15 projects compete at the Final round of 'Startup ideas and projects among Nghe An youth' 2025

On the morning of May 9, in Vinh city, Nghe An Provincial Youth Union organized the Final round of the Contest "Startup ideas and projects among Nghe An province's youth" in 2025.

The contest "Startup ideas and projects for young people in Nghe An province" is an annual activity of Nghe An Provincial Youth Union with the aim of training high-quality human resources, accompanying young people in finding jobs, establishing themselves and starting a business.

At the same time, inspire and motivate young people to be confident in work, production, and strive to become rich legitimately in the new situation.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Ho Phuc Hai said that since 2017, the Contest “Startup Ideas and Projects for Youth in Nghe An Province” has attracted more than 400 projects, of which nearly 150 projects reached the final round, 74 projects were awarded prizes. Many projects have been put into practice, creating livelihoods for the community and making positive contributions to the local economy .

The total resources supporting the projects amounted to 10 billion VND, demonstrating the strong participation of the Youth Union, authorities at all levels and the business community in nurturing young entrepreneurs.

The 2025 preliminary round welcomed hundreds of innovative projects applying technology in smart agriculture, green recycling, education, health, digital services and automation.

Of these, 15 best ideas and projects have entered the Final round.

In this round, contestants must display their products and present their projects to the judges for 7 minutes, then answer questions posed by the judges.

The final round of the competition will take place on May 9. The closing ceremony and award ceremony will be announced in the near future.

Within the framework of the program, the Organizing Committee of the competition decided to support the 5 most feasible startup ideas and projects to realize and gradually put them into practice.

2. Project "Thanh Moc Vegetarian Fish Sauce" - Contestant group Le Thi Yen Chi, Do Thi Mai Phuong, Nguyen Khanh Van, Pham Thi Phuong Thao, Nguyen Thu Thao (Vinh University).

3. Project "Japa - National hangover drink serving everyone's needs at low prices". Contestant group Nguyen Manh Quynh, Truong Xuan Loc, Nguyen Khanh Linh (Vinh University).

4. Model of "Producing and trading Vietnamese Bamboo Wine". Contestant Dang Ngoc Huyen (Yen Thanh district).

5. Idea "Recycling waste cooking oil into diesel engine fuel to reduce emissions and environmental pollution". Contestant group: Hoang Van Thu, Phan Van Quyet, Dinh Viet Tien (Vinh University of Technical Education).

6. Project "Multi-function Iot dryer", contestant group: Bui Thi Linh Trang, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Quyen, Ho Huu Anh (Vietnam - Korea College of Technology).

7. Model of "Growing chrysanthemums intercropped with melons in high-tech greenhouses". Contestant group: Nguyen Thi Thuy Dung, Nguyen Thi Thanh Huong, Nguyen Huu Hung (Nam Dan district).

8. Project "Producing Loc Nhien Pineapple Vinegar products", contestant group: Van Thi Ngoc Anh, Hoang Thi Yen Nhi, Nguyen Thi Viet Hang, Pham Thi Thuy Linh, Nguyen Thi Thanh Tam (Vinh University).

9. Project "Dragon Organic Lipstick", contestant group: Nguyen Thi Thu, Pham Thi Phuong Anh, Mai Thi Binh An, Dang Huynh Duy (Nghe An University).

10. Project "Expanding and developing the Ky Hang peanut oil and sesame oil brand from local agricultural products". Candidate: Nguyen Thi Thanh Hang (Tan Ky district).

11. Model "LS Edu Learning Connection Application". Contestant group Luu Thi Tran Tran, Bui Thi Khanh Huyen, Le Tu May, Nguyen Thi Hoai An, Ngo Phung Xuan Phu (Vinh University).

12. Model "Beekeeping for honey extraction on the next floor". Contestant group: Van Thi Ngoc Anh, Hoang Thi Yen Nhi, Nguyen Thi Viet Hang, Pham Thi Thuy Linh, Nguyen Thi Thanh Tam (Vinh University).
