General Department of Politics delegation works at Naval Region 3

VOV.VN - Today (November 7), a working delegation from the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army led by Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, inspected and grasped the situation of Party activities, political work and some aspects of military work in 2024 at Naval Region 3.

In 2024, the Party Committee and Command of Naval Region 3 focused on leadership and direction, grasped the situation and tasks, promptly advised the Navy on policies and measures to improve the quality and effectiveness of task performance, and firmly protect the sovereignty of seas and islands in assigned areas.

The program “Vietnam Navy as a support for fishermen to go out to sea and stick to the sea” and the Navy’s sponsorship of fishermen’s children have achieved many positive results. Up to now, Navy Region 3 has sponsored 11 children and supported 182 million VND for fishermen’s children.

Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, requested the Party Committee and the Command of Naval Region 3 to promote the achieved results and improve the quality of performing tasks in 2025 and the following period. Party committees and commanders of agencies and units in the Region must proactively grasp and accurately forecast the situation, promptly advise and propose policies and effectively handle situations, avoid being passive and surprised, firmly protect the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland; build solidarity and unity in Party committees and organizations at all levels; do a good job of preparing and organizing Party congresses at all levels to ensure compliance with principles, procedures and safety.
