The General Department of Politics delegation visited and encouraged people in the flood-hit areas of Dak Lak.

On the afternoon of November 21, a working delegation of the General Department of Politics led by Senior Lieutenant General Truong Thien To, Deputy Head of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, visited, shared the loss and encouraged people in the flood-affected areas of Dak Lak.

Senior Lieutenant General Truong Thien To visited flooded areas heavily affected by storms and floods to visit and share the difficulties and losses that people have suffered.

In Phu Thu village, Tay Hoa commune, the working group visited and presented gifts to Mr. Truong Cong Men (70 years old, a household that suffered heavy losses). Mr. Men shared: “The floodwaters rose too quickly, the house was completely submerged. Fortunately, the family was able to evacuate to higher ground. Thanks to the support of the army, many people were rescued in time. With the army, people feel more secure.”

Senior Lieutenant General Truong Thien To and his delegation also inspected the Kitchen of the Defense Command of Region 6 - Tuy Hoa (Dak Lak Provincial Military Command). Senior Lieutenant General Truong Thien To praised the sense of responsibility of the officers and soldiers who are working day and night to ensure hundreds of hot meals, porridge and necessities to be promptly delivered to people in deep flooded areas. The warm fires in the midst of the flood have brought full meals and are a great source of encouragement to people in difficult times.
