On the morning of January 27, a high-ranking delegation of Champasak province - Lao People's Democratic Republic led by Comrade Sanan Siphaphommachanh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Steering Committee for Political Theory, Party Work - Cadres of Champasak province visited and celebrated the traditional Vietnamese New Year in Dak Lak province.

Deputy Secretary Pham Minh Tan emphasized that, based on the cooperation policies of the two governments , Dak Lak has promoted cooperation with the southern Lao provinces in many fields in recent times. Particularly for Champasak province, Dak Lak province has signed a Memorandum of Understanding on development cooperation for the period 2022 - 2026. The signing ceremony marks a new phase of cooperation between the two localities and is also the basis for the two sides to continue promoting the results achieved in the past time, demonstrating the commitment of the two local authorities to strive to further promote the cooperative relationship between Dak Lak province and Champasak province to become increasingly in-depth and substantive.

With the achieved results, comrade Pham Minh Tan hopes that in the coming time, the two provincial governments will continue to exchange and expand cooperation areas to contribute to socio-economic development, bringing practical results to the people of the two provinces, contributing to tightening the traditional friendship between Vietnam and Laos in general and Dak Lak - Champasak in particular.

This is also an opportunity for both sides to look back on the development path in the past time, and at the same time continue to consolidate and tighten the special solidarity and friendship between the two Parties, the two States and the people of Vietnam - Laos in general, the government and people of Dak Lak - Champasak provinces in particular in the coming time, actively contributing to the cause of national construction and protection in each country as well as peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region; together build and implement new cooperation contents to enrich the friendly relations between the two countries in general and Dak Lak and Champasak provinces in particular.
