(Baoquangngai.vn) - On the occasion of the Emulation Congress of the Provincial Armed Forces for the period 2019 - 2024, on the morning of August 6, the delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the delegation of officers and soldiers of the Provincial Armed Forces held a flower and incense offering ceremony at the Martyrs' Cemetery of Quang Ngai City, to commemorate and pay tribute to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

Attending the ceremony were Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hoang Giang; Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Cao Phuc; Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Hoang Tuan; Lieutenant Colonel Tran The Phan - Commander of the Provincial Military Command; leaders of the Provincial Police; Provincial Armed Forces and delegates representing typical and advanced collectives and individuals in implementing the emulation movement "Determination to Win the Provincial Armed Forces", period 2019 - 2024.

In a solemn and emotional atmosphere, the delegation respectfully offered incense and flowers, commemorated and expressed their respect, remembrance and infinite gratitude to the great President Ho Chi Minh and the heroic martyrs who heroically devoted and sacrificed for the cause of national liberation, building and defending the Fatherland so that today the country can enjoy peace, prosperity and happiness.

Respecting and remembering the great sacrifices of previous generations, in the past 5 years, imbued with the teachings of President Ho Chi Minh "Emulation is patriotism, patriotism requires emulation", the provincial military has actively carried out the "Determined to Win" emulation movement associated with patriotic emulation movements, creating motivation for collectives and individuals to strive to excel in completing assigned tasks, contributing to enhancing the qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers".

In front of the heroic martyrs, the provincial leaders and officers and soldiers of the provincial armed forces vow to live, fight, work and study following the example of great Uncle Ho, following the glorious tradition of the heroic homeland of Quang Ngai, uniting with one heart, determined to overcome all difficulties and challenges, competing to excellently complete all assigned tasks, contributing to building the homeland and country to become increasingly rich, civilized and firmly protecting the socialist Fatherland of Vietnam.
