On the morning of April 17, the National Assembly Delegation of Vinh Long province had a meeting with voters of 3 communes: Song Phu, Tan Phu and Phu Thinh (Tam Binh district).

Attending the meeting with voters were: Member of the Party Central Committee - Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission - Bui Van Nghiem; Member of the Provincial Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Vinh Long province - Nguyen Thi Minh Trang; Chief of Office of the Traffic Safety Committee of Vinh Long province - Nguyen Thanh Phong, and more than 150 voters.
At the meeting, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Vinh Long province - Nguyen Thi Minh Trang informed voters about some contents of the expected working program at the 9th Session, 15th National Assembly - scheduled to open on May 5, 2025 and close on the morning of June 28, 2025. This is considered the longest session ever.
At this session, the National Assembly will consider and decide on amendments and supplements to a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution; consider and pass 30 laws and 7 resolutions; give opinions on 6 draft laws; consider and decide on socio-economic issues, the state budget, supervision and other important issues...
On this occasion, voters sent recommendations related to the merger of communes and wards and policies to support related subjects; policies to support patients with serious illnesses; support output for agricultural products, encourage teachers to improve their skills to train better quality human resources... At the same time, they requested that the relevant agencies promptly overcome the situation of traffic signs on many main roads that are still obstructed from view.
On behalf of the delegation, Member of the Party Central Committee - Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission - Bui Van Nghiem took note and explained in turn the issues that voters were interested in and suggested. In particular, the implementation of the arrangement and reorganization of administrative units at all levels to organize the apparatus closer to the people, so that people can conveniently carry out administrative records and procedures. At the same time, it is associated with support policies for hamlet, quarter and area cadres.

The delegation shared the difficulties with voters, when it is expected to end the use of non-professional cadres at the commune level. Thereby, recognizing the contributions of non-professional cadres, who have contributed to the good implementation of the Party's policies and the State's laws.
