On the occasion of the Lunar New Year of the Snake - 2025, this afternoon, January 16th, a delegation from Savannakhet province (Laos), led by the Chairman of the Inspection Committee of Savannakhet province, Lam-thong Khop-sy-la-vong, visited and extended New Year greetings to Quang Tri province. Ms. Ho Thi Thu Hang, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee, received the delegation.

On behalf of Savannakhet province, the Chairman of the Provincial Inspection Committee of Savannakhet, Lamthong Khopsylavong, extended best wishes for the New Year to the Party Committee, government, and people of Quang Tri province on the occasion of the traditional Vietnamese Lunar New Year.
At the same time, it was affirmed that, despite facing many difficulties and challenges in the past, the strengthening of the special friendship, solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation in all fields between Laos and Vietnam has continuously developed.
Expressing gratitude and appreciation for the companionship, cooperation, and support of Quang Tri province to Savannakhet province in various fields over the past time, Chairman of the Inspection Committee of Savannakhet province, Lam-thong Khop-sy-la-vong, hoped that the two provinces would continue to maintain a strong relationship and have more effective cooperation programs to contribute to preserving and promoting the solidarity, friendship, and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos; wishing the Party Committee, government, and people of Quang Tri province a successful new year 2025, fulfilling all socio-economic targets and tasks, and achieving many accomplishments and victories in all fields.
Ms. Ho Thi Thu Hang, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission, expressed her pleasure in welcoming the delegation from Savannakhet province to visit and extend New Year greetings to Quang Tri province, and affirmed that the special relationship and affection between the Party committees, governments, and people of the two provinces are increasingly being nurtured through very concrete and practical actions.
Expressing delight at the achievements of Savannakhet province in the past period, the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee, Ho Thi Thu Hang, also informed about the outstanding results in socio-economic development, national defense and security, Party building work, and the streamlining of the provincial apparatus in Quang Tri in 2024, with the determination to successfully implement the targets and tasks of the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress and the 5-year socio-economic development plan 2021-2025 of Quang Tri province.
In an atmosphere of warm friendship and solidarity, the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission, Ho Thi Thu Hang, affirmed that in the coming time, the Party Committee, government, and people of Quang Tri province will continue to strengthen cooperation in various fields with Savannakhet province to contribute to maintaining, consolidating, and developing the friendly cooperative relationship between the two provinces in an increasingly profound and effective way, thereby building a comprehensive, strong, and sustainable friendship, cooperation, and development relationship.
