On the morning of July 3, the National Assembly Delegation of Binh Duong province (Election Unit No. 1, Thu Dau Mot city; Tan Uyen city) held a National Assembly Deputies' Conference to meet voters after the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly in Hoi Nghia ward and Vinh Tan ward (Tan Uyen city, Binh Duong province).

The delegation of National Assembly deputies of Binh Duong province (Election Unit No. 1, Thu Dau Mot city; Tan Uyen city) includes the following delegates: Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong, member of the Party Central Committee, Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, Deputy Minister of National Defense ; Dr. Tran Cong Phan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice President, General Secretary of the Vietnam Lawyers Association; Ms. Nguyen Hoang Bao Tran, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice President of the Binh Duong Provincial Labor Federation.

At the meeting with voters, the National Assembly Delegation informed voters about the key contents of the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly and the resolutions passed by the National Assembly.

Voter Le Van Thanh (residing in Quarter 3, Hoi Nghia Ward) expressed his gratitude to the National Assembly Deputies for taking note of the voters' opinions. In addition, voter Le Van Thanh also made recommendations to the National Assembly Deputies regarding the security and order situation in the area. In particular, voter Le Van Thanh made recommendations regarding the current complicated situation of online fraud, many people fell into the trap of scammers and lost a lot of property...

“I hope that the National Assembly deputies will propose this issue to the National Assembly to clarify more information related to online fraud cases. Why is this situation increasing nowadays, the victims are mainly ordinary people… The subjects are very sophisticated when providing information about personal identity, relatives, then enticing people in many ways to request money transfers, verification… Why do the subjects have information about ordinary people, through what forms and how can we limit this situation”, voter Le Van Thanh said.

Another voter, Ms. Dinh Thi Ngoc Hoa (voter of Hoi Nghia ward) also proposed an opinion on the security and order situation, traffic in Tan Uyen city and some roads that caused frustration for the people. Ms. Hoa said that currently, some roads in Tan Uyen city are flooded, severely damaged, causing traffic safety problems, and danger to people on the road and students.

In addition, voter Dinh Thi Ngoc Hoa also made a complaint about the situation at some intersections where shops and restaurants encroach on the sidewalks and large trees are planted, obstructing the view. Voters requested that the authorities intervene to clarify the situation, to ensure the safety of people and vehicles.

Some other voters expressed their opinions that local authorities need to improve the quality of cultural and spiritual life for the people... build a movement among the masses, and promote solidarity to help people's lives be both economically prosperous and spiritually fulfilled.

Grasp the aspirations of the people

At the meeting with voters, Dr. Tran Cong Phan, representative of the National Assembly Delegation of Binh Duong province, requested local agencies to record opinions and answer voters' questions.

Regarding the issue of online fraud, answering voters, Colonel Ngo Xuan Phu, Deputy Director of Binh Duong Provincial Police, acknowledged that voters' opinions on the current situation of online fraud are very "hot" and the situation is very complicated not only in Binh Duong province but nationwide.

Reporting to voters, Colonel Ngo Xuan Phu said that in the first 6 months of 2024, Binh Duong province recorded 57 online fraud cases and the loss of more than 30 billion VND, including 37 serious fraud cases.

Responding to voters about the method of fraud and why people's information is leaked as well as preventive measures, Deputy Director of Binh Duong Provincial Police - Colonel Ngo Xuan Phu said: "Currently, the main form of fraud is calling, exchanging via text messages, subjects take advantage of, impersonating authorities and then asking citizens to update their identity information, defrauding related to the case, to come up with a series of scenarios that attack people's psychology. There are many sources of information leakage, for example through network operators, the process of people participating in utility services, shopping because the phone number will be kept for convenient purchase, so this is also a channel for information leakage".

According to Colonel Ngo Xuan Phu, Binh Duong Provincial Police are currently focusing on propaganda and coordinating with many functional agencies to warn people about fraud. In addition, they are also coordinating to set up special projects to destroy fraud rings.

In addition, Colonel Ngo Xuan Phu also hopes that people and voters will cooperate in reporting crimes, and at the same time raise awareness that when someone calls claiming to be a government official or a functional agency, they should not answer or report to the nearest police station for convenient handling.

In addition to the response from the representative of Binh Duong Provincial Police, National Assembly Deputy Tran Cong Phan also requested the relevant agencies, such as the People's Committee of Hoi Nghia Ward; the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs; and the representative of the People's Committee of Tan Uyen City to synthesize the opinions of voters, and to immediately respond to any issues that can be answered and clarified for voters. Any issues that are being handled should also be recorded and promptly responded to to clarify so that people can feel secure.

Talking with voters in Hoi Nghia ward, National Assembly Deputy Tran Cong Phan welcomed voters to contribute their opinions, speak frankly, in the spirit of constructive contribution.

National Assembly Deputy Tran Cong Phan also recommended that the authorities grasp the aspirations and opinions of the people to have in-depth information, debate and resolve questions to help voters understand each specific issue.

“We hope to continue listening to voters' opinions, to continue carrying out the work of conveying voters' information to the National Assembly,” National Assembly Deputy Tran Cong Phan shared with voters.

On the afternoon of July 3, the National Assembly Delegation of Binh Duong Province (Election Unit No. 1) also held a meeting with voters in Vinh Tan Ward (Tan Uyen City). Here, voters of Vinh Tan Ward raised many opinions, thoughts and aspirations to the National Assembly Delegation on issues related to social security.

Voter Ly Thi Quyen (resident of Quarter 6, Vinh Tan Ward) made a petition to the National Assembly Delegation regarding the local traffic infrastructure. Voters hope that the authorities will soon resolve the problems of rural roads and expand and upgrade the current dirt roads (2-3m).

This issue was acknowledged by Mr. Doan Minh Tuan, Chairman of Vinh Tan Ward People's Committee. Mr. Doan Minh Tuan said that currently, Tan Uyen City People's Committee always pays attention to the issue of developing traffic infrastructure. In particular, the process of concreting and asphalting ensures the rights of people on the basis of urban development, focusing on building main roads first, connecting traffic first.

Local small branch roads (2-3m) have recorded each area, reported to the City People's Committee, coordinated with the people to organize or wait for public investment capital. In the spirit of supporting the people and synchronizing the entire traffic infrastructure in the shortest time.
