Implementing the Program of the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly, on November 11, the National Assembly conducted questions and answers on the first group of issues in the banking sector and the second group of issues in the health sector. National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man chaired the question and answer session. Delegate Do Chi Nghia, National Assembly Delegation of Phu Yen province, requested the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) to clarify the cause and provide solutions to promote the implementation of the National Financial Inclusion Strategy.

Raising the question, delegate Do Chi Nghia said that 5 years ago, the Prime Minister approved the National Financial Inclusion Strategy, in which the goal is to promote the application of technology so that all classes in society, especially low-income people, micro-enterprises, and cooperatives can access capital conveniently and at a lower cost than current banking and credit channels. At the same time, it is also a way to fight against black credit. Delegate Do Chi Nghia asked:
Responding to the question of delegate Do Chi Nghia, Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Nguyen Thi Hong said that, regarding the national financial strategy, the State Bank has been assigned by the Government to be the focal point to issue the National Strategy on Financial Inclusion, which emphasizes the content on vulnerable groups, small and medium enterprises, and disadvantaged groups, especially in remote areas. The goal of this Strategy is to help people across the country have access to finance at reasonable costs.
To ensure debt collection, the State Bank has also issued documents such as amending the lending circular of credit institutions to customers to allow people to access electronically. Or for loans under one hundred million, individual customers do not have to make a feasible plan, but credit institutions only base on the purpose of the loan and the information to verify.
Speaking at the end of the first group of issues on the banking sector, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man said that the question-and-answer session was lively and frank; the National Assembly deputies closely followed the specific and clear content of the questions. There were 43 National Assembly deputies questioning, 01 deputy debating and 11 deputies registered but were not questioned. The National Assembly Chairman asked the deputies to send their questions to the National Assembly Standing Committee to forward to the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam for response according to regulations. Continuing the session yesterday afternoon and this morning, November 12, the National Assembly questioned and answered questions on the second group of issues in the health sector.
