Within the framework of the activities of Ninh Binh Tourism Week, on the afternoon of May 25, the Department of Tourism organized a survey program on Ninh Binh tourism products with the participation of nearly 150 representatives of travel agencies, news agencies and newspapers across the country (famtrip program).
The delegation offered incense and surveyed some historical sites of Gia Vien district: the mausoleum of King Dinh's family, Ky Lan Pagoda, King Dinh Tien Hoang temple, and Saint Nguyen temple.
Here, the delegation learned about the unique cultural and historical values associated with the name and contributions of King Dinh Tien Hoang and Zen Master Nguyen Minh Khong. At the same time, they participated in activities imbued with local culture such as food markets, experiences in making conical hats, etc.
The delegation also spent time learning about Kenh Ga floating village and Minawa Kenh Ga Resort & Spa. This is a key tourist area of the province with international-class facilities. In particular, this place owns a valuable hot mineral spring source, beneficial for health and is voted as one of the 5 most beautiful open-air hot mineral spring tourist areas in Vietnam.
Through the survey, the delegation highly appreciated the efforts of Gia Vien district and Ninh Binh province in investing in facilities, infrastructure, and renewing tourism products. The focus on exploiting cultural, historical, and craft village elements has made the destination more attractive and vibrant. This is also a favorable condition for travel agencies to connect, build tours, and form diverse destinations for tourists in the future.
The famtrip program is a practical activity that contributes to promoting and developing Ninh Binh tourism. It is a favorable opportunity for travel businesses, press agencies, media, and state management agencies to meet, exchange information, and survey and research new tourism products and services of Ninh Binh province.
At the same time, it assesses the current situation and proposes to build and renew tourism products combined with product promotion and advertising to expand the market and attract more tourists in the coming time.
The survey program will last until May 27. During this time, the delegation will spend time visiting and surveying Trang An Eco-tourism Area; visiting the agricultural and rural tourism model of Khanh Thien commune (Yen Khanh district) and Hoa Lu Ancient Town at night before coming to the Opening Ceremony of Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2023 "The Golden Color of Tam Coc - Trang An" on the morning of May 27.
