Lang Son delegation won 13 medals at the National High School Sports Tournament

- On June 14, the Lang Son athlete delegation completed the competitions at the 2025 National High School Sports Tournament in Hue City. The tournament was organized by the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) in coordination with the Vietnam Student Sports Association and the Department of Education and Training of Hue City.

Participating in the tournament from June 9 to 14, Lang Son delegation includes 42 athletes who are students of all levels of general education in the province, competing in 3 events: Swimming, Athletics, Vovinam. In which, the events: Swimming, Athletics, Vovinam completed the competition events on June 12, 13 and 14 respectively.

Lang Son athletes compete in the "Number 1 Martial Arts" category

At the end of the tournament, Lang Son athletes won 13 medals of all kinds (including 2 gold medals, 2 silver medals, 9 bronze medals). By sport, swimming athletes won 7 medals, athletics won 3 medals, and vovinam athletes won 3 medals.

Lang Son athlete (podium number 1) received the gold medal in the men's 48kg competition

In vovinam, athlete Dam Minh Khanh won a gold medal in the men's 48 kg combat event and a bronze medal in the "Tinh hoa luong nghi kiem phap" form; and together with 9 other athletes in the delegation, won a silver medal in the "Vo nhac so 1" form. In athletics, athlete Duong Thi Quynh won a gold medal in the women's 800 m run for secondary school students.

The 2025 National High School Sports Tournament was held at 5 locations in Hue City, gathering nearly 2,300 student athletes from Departments of Education and Training across the country. Athletes competed in 5 sports: Football, Basketball, Swimming, Athletics and Vovinam.
