At the meeting, Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Quang thanked Ambassador Vu Ho for creating conditions and time to welcome the delegation as well as coordinating with the delegation to organize this working trip to Korea.
On behalf of the working delegation, Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Quang expressed his wish that the Ambassador and the Vietnamese Embassy in Korea would continue to support the promotion of the image of Da Nang city to the Korean government and people, contributing to attracting tourists to Da Nang city.
The Secretary of the City Party Committee also informed the Ambassador that recently, the Vietnamese National Assembly passed a resolution on a special mechanism for Da Nang , including preferential policies and special incentives for innovative start-ups, semiconductors, and artificial intelligence. In particular, semiconductor technology and artificial intelligence are identified as new driving forces to create breakthrough development for Da Nang in the coming time.
Da Nang is cooperating with leading corporations and prestigious universities in the world to train human resources specializing in artificial intelligence.
