Hue tourist train

Mr. Tran Anh Tuan, Deputy General Director of Vietnam Railways Corporation , said: Vietnam Railways Corporation will organize two daily tourist trains between Hue station and Da Nang station and vice versa, in the form of transport business combined with tourism service exploitation.

To prepare for the operation of these two trains, the Corporation is focusing on renovating the interior, investing in equipment on the train cars; arranging a part of the waiting room area at Hue station and Da Nang station.

At the same time, coordinate with transport companies to invest and upgrade into high-quality train waiting rooms to diversify and renew passenger transport products and services; in line with the investment in upgrading high-quality trains, meeting the needs of tourists , international visitors and other customers.

These trains are directly managed and operated by Hanoi Railway Transport Joint Stock Company to exploit transport business, in combination with local tourism and travel businesses to exploit tourism services.

Specifically, the train has 7 carriages including: 1 electricity generating official carriage, 5 56-seat AL carriages, 1 B carriage serving service activities. The expected ticket price is 150,000 VND/ticket, applying the monthly ticket price of 900,000 VND/ticket and there is a discount policy for policy beneficiaries... The train is expected to open on March 26 for both Hue - Da Nang and vice versa.

Mr. Hoang Hai Minh, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Thua Thien-Hue province, said that the operation of the Hue - Da Nang tourist train and vice versa not only serves tourism development but also contributes to ensuring traffic connection for people between the two localities, especially students.

To coordinate well in preparing for this train, the People's Committee of Thua Thien-Hue province has requested relevant units of the province to closely coordinate with Vietnam Railways Corporation to prepare the best conditions for operation to ensure that transportation services must be different in the direction of train services with tourist route experiences between the two destinations of Hue, Da Nang and Lang Co tourist destination.

Relevant units and localities should improve the landscape on both sides of the railway, stations, lighting systems, install wifi at waiting points, connect transit vehicles, and provide entertainment services on trains...
