Doan Thanh Nga created two works about Buddhism.

To celebrate the 2025 United Nations Vesak Festival in Ho Chi Minh City, Thanh Nga Buddhist Opera Troupe staged and performed two plays: "In Search of Truth" and "The Legend of Buddha Shakyamuni" by composer Hoang Ngoc An.

Composer Hoang Ngoc An has skillfully combined traditional Cai Luong language with content about human life, impermanence, suffering, enlightenment..., creating works that are both solemn and touching, easily accessible to audiences of many ages. People's Artist Thoai Mieu, Meritorious Artist Le Trung Thao, Meritorious Artist Tam Tam, artist Hoai Nam, artist Hieu Liem... have excellently transformed into their roles.

The performance program of Thanh Nga Buddhist Opera Troupe has enriched the spiritual life of the people during this year's Buddha's birthday. Through each play, song, and verse, the audience not only enjoys the art of opera but is also led into an inner journey, where religion and life are in harmony in the light of truth.
