The Youth Union of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism is a grassroots Youth Union under the Youth Union of provincial agencies, including 05 affiliated Youth Unions: Youth Union of the Department Office; Provincial Museum; Provincial Cultural and Art Center, Tourism Promotion Center and Library; Sports Training and Competition Center. Currently, the number of Youth Union members of the Department is 103, of which the Youth Union with the largest number of members is the Sports Training and Competition Center with 35 members, the least is the Provincial Museum with 07 members.
Implementing Plan No. 11-KH/DK, dated May 6, 2024 of the Executive Committee of the Youth Union of Ha Nam Provincial Agencies on organizing the Congress of the grassroots Youth Union and the Mid-term Conference of the grassroots Youth Union, Plan No. 30/KH-ĐTN dated May 27, 2024 of the Executive Committee of the Youth Union of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism on organizing the Congress of the Youth Union for the 2024-2027 term and the 5th Mid-term Conference of the Youth Union of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ha Nam, term 2022-2027; With the attention of the Party Committee, Party cell committees and leaders of departments and units, the Standing Committee of the Youth Union of the Department has coordinated to successfully organize 05 Congresses of Youth Union branches under the Youth Union of the Department.
At the Congress, delegates approved the summary report of the Youth Union and Youth Movement program for the 2022-2024 term; set out goals, directions, tasks and solutions for the Youth Union and Youth Movement for the 2024-2027 term. The Congress elected the new Executive Committee and elected the Secretary directly at the Congress. In addition, at the Congress, delegates also gave speeches and discussed topics that were relevant to reality, closely following reality and consistent with the Youth Union and Movement program for the 2024-2027 term.
It can be said that the Congress of Youth Union branches for the 2024-2027 term is a political activity, a great festival for union members and youth of the whole Department, contributing to raising awareness and enhancing the effectiveness of the operations of departments and units. With a spirit of urgency, seriousness and responsibility, the Youth Union branches have advised the Party Committee to successfully organize the Congress in accordance with the direction of the Party Committee, the Department's leaders and the Standing Committee of the Department's Youth Union. In general, the preparation work for the organization of the Congress of the units has been fully, seriously and strictly implemented, ensuring the structure in accordance with the procedures and regulations of the superiors.
The Standing Committee of the Department's Youth Union has directed that after the Congress, the Youth Union branches will launch and organize many activities and emulation movements that are enthusiastic and widespread among the youth union members, thereby contributing to promoting the Department's Youth Union work and youth movement to develop further.
