Vietnamese businesses confidently bring "surprise" products to the Chinese market

During the 6 CIIE Shanghai International Import Expo, Vietnamese enterprises introduced to Chinese customers their strong products such as coffee, cashew nuts, fruit drinks, and bird's nest drinks.


At this Fair, TH Group - a business known for its TH true MILK brand, brought a surprising product line to many customers: TH true BUTTER Natural Butter.

Surprise from the origin

Taking place from November 5 to November 10, the CIIE Shanghai International Import Expo held at the Central National Exhibition Center (Shanghai, China) attracted 152 participating countries, exhibiting on a total area of ​​over 420,000 square meters. However, he stopped for quite a while at the TH true MILK booth, chatting more deeply when he learned that at this Fair, TH not only brought products that achieved National Brands such as sterilized fresh milk, yogurts; nut milk... but also brought 2 product lines: unsalted butter and gac oil. In which, TH true BUTTER Natural Unsalted Butter is a product line that TH has developed since 2016, very popular in Vietnam. Not only introducing products at the Fair, since August 2024, TH has directly exported unsalted butter to the regions of Hebei, Shanghai, Hangzhou and has had close retailers and supermarket chains distributing this product line.

Deputy Minister Nhat Tan emphasized that in the past, when talking about unsalted butter, countries in the region often mentioned the EU and New Zealand, countries with a tradition of raising dairy cows and processing unsalted butter. No one thought that Vietnam also had a business with enough capacity to produce unsalted butter products in large quantities, supplying a market of billions of people like China.

For TH's long-time distributors, the reason they approach to buy unsalted butter from TH is because they know that TH owns the world's largest closed-loop high-tech concentrated livestock farm (setting a record in 2020) with a herd of nearly 70,000 dairy cows, the TH true MILK fresh milk product line has been trusted for many years. From a large source of raw fresh milk, combined with high-tech processing, TH completely masters the processing and export of unsalted butter to potential markets such as China.

Top natural butter products with international technology

Ms. Hoang Thi Thanh Thuy, International Business Director, TH Group shared that TH true BUTTER butter products are made entirely from pure fresh cow's milk fat and are not mixed with other ingredients. Nutrition experts say that butter is a fat-rich food, so it is mainly a very abundant source of energy. In addition, butter also contains many fat-soluble vitamins of milk such as Vitamins A, D, E, K. Because it is produced from pure fresh cow's milk, TH butter retains all of the above characteristics.

TH true BUTTER Natural Butter is also highly appreciated by nutritionists because of its ivory color - the natural color of the product (compared to some similar products that have a light yellow color). This difference is due to the breed of cow, the source of food for the cow, the climate, the care regimen and the diet of the cow. According to observations of culinary experts, butter and cheese products originating from the US and Europe often have a natural ivory color. And TH true BUTTER butter can be comparable in quality to European and American products.

TH true BUTTER unsalted butter is considered to have the fragrant flavor of fresh milk, very suitable for daily use as well as processing foods, cakes and sweets.

In fact, on the market, natural butter has a more delicious flavor so it is often preferred for direct use or processing of high-end foods.

TH's unsalted butter is produced using Italian and Swiss technology and traditional European processing methods. The processing line applies ISO 22000 and HACCP standards with a sterile production environment, high hygiene standards, and specialized air filtration and air conditioning systems. Therefore, when introducing to the Chinese market - a rapidly growing market and at risk of reducing unsalted butter supply from traditional countries, TH has taken advantage of this opportunity to boost unsalted butter exports.

Right at the Fair, Ms. Dien Kieu My, Purchasing Manager of Hotmaxx Company - the unit that owns a supermarket chain of more than 1,000 stores across China (concentrated in Shanghai, Wuhan, Beijing, Guangzhou) has researched this product line quite thoroughly and said that she will decide to sign a purchase contract in the near future.
