NU (Netherlands) revealed that coach Andries Jonker planned to learn about the Vietnamese women's team from October 2022, right after the draw for the 2023 Women's World Cup group stage. This is not an easy task because the Vietnamese women's team rarely competes internationally. Most Vietnamese players (except Huynh Nhu) play domestically.

The opportunity only came to the scout team of the Dutch Football Association (KNVB) when coach Mai Duc Chung and his team went to Nepal to compete in the 2024 Olympic qualifiers.
