Taking place from August 8 to August 13, the contestants will perform the following competitions: Announcing letters; Announcing abbreviated numbers; Collecting letters, collecting abbreviated numbers; and announcing picnics.

In particular, reporters holding the title of "Level 2 Reporter" for at least 2 years (from 2023 onwards) are eligible to take the exam to receive the title of "Level 3 Reporter".

Reporters who have held the title of "Level 3 Reporter" for at least 3 years (from 2022 onwards) are eligible to take the exam to receive the title of "Reporter Master".

The 2025 Military Reporting Title Award Competition aims to evaluate the capabilities and qualifications of the military reporting team; and to recognize titles for highly qualified reporting comrades.

Thereby, encouraging and motivating the movement of studying, practicing, and improving professional qualifications, meeting the requirements of building a "revolutionary, disciplined, elite, and modern" military communications force.

In his opening speech, Major General Vu Viet Hoang affirmed: Given the complicated developments in the world and regional situation; the increasing risk of information war, loss of information security and safety, the role of information and communication work is becoming more and more important.

Therefore, along with the modernization of communication equipment, special attention should be paid to building a team of staff, especially a highly qualified intelligence force. This is a key factor for the military communication sector to successfully complete its tasks, contributing to building and protecting the Fatherland in the new situation.

The Commander of the Signal Corps also emphasized that this is an opportunity for the intelligence team in the entire army to train, learn, exchange experiences, improve political qualities, professional capacity, and combat readiness, contributing to ensuring smooth and stable communication in all situations.

The contest is a practical activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Communications Corps (September 9, 1945 / September 9, 2025).

Major General Vu Viet Hoang requested the Organizing Committee to ensure adequate equipment, facilities, accommodation and living conditions; to conduct the competition contents according to the plan and regulations, and to ensure absolute safety. The jury must closely follow the plan, content and regulations; to objectively, impartially and accurately evaluate the results of each contestant and each delegation, promptly report and propose solutions to arising situations.

Candidates must identify the right motivation and attitude; unite, overcome difficulties, apply knowledge and practical experience well in the exam process, strictly comply with regulations, and be determined to achieve high results.
