According to the representative of Cam My District Social Insurance (SI), the conference aims to implement Decision No. 74/QD-UBND dated May 22, 2024 of the District People's Committee on assigning targets for developing participants in household health insurance (HI) and voluntary social insurance in 2024.
The conference aims to raise people's awareness of the superiority of voluntary social insurance and family health insurance policies so that people can understand and actively participate to ensure their own rights, contribute to the locality's implementation of social security policies and complete the targets and tasks in 2024.
Accordingly, the district Social Insurance coordinated with the People's Committees of communes in the area to organize 2 dialogue and propaganda conferences, with the participation of more than 100 people representing the Party Committee leaders of communes, Vice Chairmen in charge of Culture and Society, and people who have not participated in Social Insurance and Health Insurance.
At the conferences, delegates listened to presentations on voluntary social insurance policies, family health insurance, and the expected increase in health insurance participation from July 1, 2024. Thereby, people can see the practical benefits of participating, while introducing the contribution levels, payment methods, and focusing on issues related to the regime and benefits when participating in voluntary social insurance to receive pensions when eligible, striving to have the rate of people participating in health insurance in the commune be over 95% by the end of 2024.
The conference also spent a lot of time on direct dialogue on the contents and issues related to the voluntary social insurance regime and policies, family health insurance. The opinions of the delegates were received and answered satisfactorily and clearly by the district social insurance representative.
