Dialogue with businesses in economic zones and industrial parks of the province

On November 19, the Management Board of Economic Zones and Industrial Parks of Khanh Hoa province organized a meeting and dialogue with enterprises to listen, receive and promptly resolve difficulties and problems in the investment, production and business process of enterprises in the province. Attending the conference were leaders of relevant departments, branches and enterprises operating in economic zones and industrial parks in the province.

At the conference, businesses reflected and made recommendations to the Management Board of Economic Zones and Industrial Parks, departments, branches and sectors of the province on difficulties and problems, such as: Lack of human resources; delays in loading wood chips onto ships at Nam Van Phong International Port; maintenance and repair of technical infrastructure and strengthening the management role to create conditions for businesses operating in Ninh Thuy Industrial Park; problems with traffic infrastructure; difficulties in obtaining construction permits.

In addition, representatives of businesses attending the conference also recommended that provincial agencies support trade promotion, search for new markets; increase information and guidance for businesses on regulations and technical standards of potential markets; update technical requirements, tax rates and consumption trends in potential markets; provide financial support, etc.

Concluding the conference, Head of the Provincial Economic Zone and Industrial Park Management Board Tran Minh Chien said that the management board will preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies to urgently review and immediately handle the contents under its authority, especially administrative procedures related to investment, construction, environment, labor, as well as essential infrastructure issues serving the production activities of enterprises. For contents beyond its authority, the management board will synthesize and report to the Provincial People's Committee; at the same time, closely coordinate with departments and branches to advise and propose timely and practical solutions. The unit will continue to maintain a periodic dialogue mechanism, increase direct work with enterprises to promptly detect and handle arising problems; consider the development of enterprises as an important foundation in promoting the development of industrial parks and contributing to the economic growth of Khanh Hoa province.
