Huynh Nhu is busy playing for Ho Chi Minh City Club.
According to plan, the Vietnamese women's team of coach Mai Duc Chung will officially gather from October 21 at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center ( Hanoi ) to prepare for the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand next December.
Coach Mai Duc Chung has finalized the list of 27 athletes to send to the Department of Sports and Physical Training, but Huynh Nhu and the players of the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Club, who just won the 2025 National Women's Championship, are not included, because they are busy competing in the 2025 - 2026 Asian Women's Club Championship in mid-November.
Coach Mai Duc Chung will continue to have the support of experienced assistant coaches such as Doan Minh Hai, young coach and former national player Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh and fitness coach Cedric Serge Christian Roger and a doctor.

Sharing about personnel issues before the training session, Coach Mai Duc Chung said this is the third training session in 2025 to prepare for the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand. This training session has many promising young faces of women's football in recent tournaments.
Opportunities for young talents
"We hope that the young players and the ladies will practice their best and strive to be on the list to attend the upcoming SEA Games, in the context that the veteran players are getting older and always want to give up their positions to talented young players.
We hope that the young players will progress quickly to catch up. The coaching staff will always create conditions for them to strive. We all know that other countries also invest a lot in their teams, such as massively naturalizing foreign athletes, causing difficulties for Vietnamese players who are short and weak.
But in return, our girls have a quick, agile and skillful spirit. The national women's team continues to receive many opportunities from the VFF leadership to compete and train abroad, to compete with better players so that we can learn and gain experience," said coach Mai Duc Chung.
According to the plan, the Vietnamese women's team will gather on the morning of October 21 and have their first practice session in the afternoon of the same day. On November 20, after gathering with the HCMC Women's Club Group 1 (which may include Huynh Nhu), the whole team will go to Japan for training, with 3 friendly matches expected with Japanese women's clubs.
