The Vietnamese women's volleyball team excellently topped Group C of the 2023 Asian Women's Volleyball Championship qualifiers. With this achievement, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his team were placed in the top 8 teams in the classification round.
The Vietnamese women's team is in Group E of the qualifying round. The first and second teams of Groups E and F will qualify for the semi-finals. The third and fourth teams of these two groups will compete in the 5-8 qualifying round. The best achievement of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team in the history of participating in the Asian tournament is 2 times finishing 5th (in 2015 and 2017).
