On April 11, comrade Doan Minh Huan, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, had a meeting with comrade Kham-Phau An-Tha-Van, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Lao People's Democratic Republic (LPDR) to Vietnam, his husband and the working delegation who came to visit and work with the leaders of Ninh Binh province.
Receiving and working with the delegation were comrade Tong Quang Thin, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of a number of provincial departments and branches; and leaders of Nho Quan district.
In a friendly and open atmosphere, Provincial Party Secretary Doan Minh Huan expressed his pleasure to receive and work with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Lao PDR to Vietnam, his husband and the working delegation.
Briefly introducing the geographical location, natural conditions and achievements in socio -economic development of the province, sharing information on cooperation with localities of the Lao PDR, the Provincial Party Secretary said: Ninh Binh province is always steadfast and pursuing the orientation of developing the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos that the leaders of the two Parties and the two States of Vietnam and Laos have worked hard to cultivate. Over the years, friendly cooperation activities between Ninh Binh province and localities of Laos have been constantly consolidated, expanded and developed.
Recently, in Ninh Binh, a meeting was held between Ninh Binh and Udomxay provinces, exchanging information, clarifying the potentials, strengths, and strategic orientations to enhance cooperation between the two localities in the coming time, thereby raising the comprehensive cooperation between the two provinces to a new level. Cooperation and friendly exchanges between Ninh Binh province and some localities of Laos are increasingly in-depth, substantial, and effective, becoming one of the important driving forces for socio-economic development, bringing benefits to the people of both sides.
Appreciating the strengths in tourism development of Laos, in the coming time, the Provincial Party Secretary hopes that the Ambassador will continue to pay attention, support, foster, promote and create conditions for Ninh Binh to have the opportunity to expand cooperation with localities of Laos. In particular, Ninh Binh hopes to connect and cooperate with ancient heritage cities, share experiences in preserving and promoting heritage values, thereby contributing to promoting the development of a cross-border heritage urban network.
On this occasion, the Provincial Party Secretary also expressed his gratitude to the Lao Party and State for recently awarding the noble Medals to groups and individuals of Ninh Binh province. This is also a source of motivation for groups and individuals to continue to have more activities in preserving and promoting the solidarity, friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Laos.
The Provincial Party Secretary said: Currently, Ninh Binh is building a dossier to submit to the competent authority to recognize the Temple of Princess Nhoi Hoa - Princess of Laos (Upper Temple, Thai Son village, Son Lai commune, Nho Quan district) as a national historical relic. In the coming time, Ninh Binh province hopes to receive attention and support from Laos in providing information about famous people, consolidating the dossier to submit to the competent authority in Vietnam for early recognition as a national historical relic. Thereby contributing to the preservation of the relic - a beautiful cultural symbol of the steadfast and loyal Vietnam - Laos friendship throughout history.
In the atmosphere of the traditional Lao New Year - Bun Pi May 2024, the Provincial Party Secretary wished Ambassador Kham-Phau An-Tha-Van, his husband and the working delegation a new year of success, happiness and health. Wishing the Ambassador a successful term in Vietnam.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Lao PDR to Vietnam Kham-Phau An-Tha-Van thanked the provincial leaders for their warm and respectful welcome to the delegation and expressed his joy and excitement to visit Ninh Binh.
Ambassador Kham-Phau An-Tha-Van shared: This is the second time the Ambassador has come to Ninh Binh and is very impressed with the strong development of the province. The Ambassador affirmed that the good traditional relationship and the loyal attachment between the people of the two countries were laid down by President Ho Chi Minh, President Kaysone Phomvihane, President Souphanouvong, and have been cultivated by successive generations of leaders of the two Parties, two States and people of the two countries, becoming a rare exemplary and loyal relationship. Appreciating the cooperative relationship between Ninh Binh province and some localities of Laos, including Udomsay province, he believed that in the coming time, Ninh Binh will have more cooperation with localities of Laos, bringing practical benefits to the people of the two countries.
Ambassador Kham-Phau An-Tha-Van affirmed that he will do his best to create a bridge to promote the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos as well as the cooperative relationship between the two countries' localities to become increasingly stronger and more developed. In particular, he will continue to support Ninh Binh to expand its cooperative relationship with Luang Prabang province, Vientiane capital, and Hua Phan province - these are provinces that have many similarities with Ninh Binh, especially in tourism development.
Welcoming Ninh Binh's preparation of a dossier to submit to the competent authority to recognize the Temple of Princess Nhoi Hoa as a national historical relic, the Ambassador said that in the coming time, the Lao side will send a working delegation to support and accompany Ninh Binh province in the process of completing the dossier, thereby contributing to preserving and promoting the values of the relic, making the relic a tourist attraction for Lao and international visitors when coming to Ninh Binh.
On the occasion of the traditional New Year Bun Pi May 2024, Ambassador Kham-Phau An-Tha-Van sent his best wishes to the leaders and people of Ninh Binh, the leaders and people of Vietnam for good health and happiness; and for the great friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos to be forever green and sustainable.
