According to the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee, all the houses were handed over and put into use on July 27th. Of these, 1,022 were newly built and 1,429 were renovated. This is the result of the involvement of the entire political system, demonstrating the principle of "drinking water, remembering the source," and expressing gratitude for the contributions and sacrifices of previous generations.

Simultaneously, the province also implemented support for the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses for 10,069 poor, near-poor, and newly-escaped-poverty households, including 8,084 new houses and 1,985 houses undergoing repairs. To date, the entire province has completed 12,506 houses, reaching 99.9% of the plan. The remaining 14 houses in Bau Can commune are still under construction due to heavy rains from the remnants of typhoon No. 3. Local authorities are urgently accelerating the progress, striving to complete them as soon as possible.

The housing support program not only contributes to ensuring stable housing and living conditions for the people, but also serves as an important foundation for Gia Lai to effectively implement national target programs on sustainable poverty reduction, new rural development, and comprehensive socio -economic development.
