Comrade Pham Van Nghiem was elected Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

On the morning of May 15, at the Provincial People's Council meeting to resolve urgent matters, the process of electing the additional position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 17th term, 2021 - 2026, and other personnel work was carried out. Attending the meeting were comrades: Ngo Dong Hai, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Tien Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.

Provincial leaders presented flowers to congratulate officials on their new assignments.

On behalf of the Provincial People's Committee, Comrade Lai Van Hoan, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee presented a proposal to introduce personnel for the Provincial People's Council to consider and elect to fill the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021 - 2026 term. Accordingly, the proposal introduced Comrade Pham Van Nghiem, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Home Affairs as the personnel for the Provincial People's Council to elect to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 17th term, 2021 - 2026 term according to its authority. Agreeing on the introduced personnel, 100% of the Provincial People's Council delegates present voted to elect Mr. Pham Van Nghiem to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 17th term, 2021 - 2026 term.

Comrade Nguyen Tien Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, congratulated the comrades on receiving new assignments. Comrade Lai Van Hoan, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee presented a proposal to introduce personnel for the Provincial People's Council to consider and elect an additional position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.

Previously, the Provincial People's Council carried out the procedure to dismiss the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term for comrade Tran Thi Bich Hang due to a job transfer. At the meeting, the Provincial People's Council also carried out the procedure to dismiss the position of Member of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term for comrade Vu Kim Cu, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Economic Zone and Industrial Zone Management Board; elected additional member of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term for comrade Thai Thi Thu Huong, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Planning and Investment.

Comrade Pham Van Nghiem, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, delivered a speech accepting the assignment.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Pham Van Nghiem, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee respectfully thanked the delegates of the Provincial People's Council for their trust and confidence in electing him to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term. Determining that this is an honor as well as a great responsibility assigned by the Party Committee, the government and the people of the province, he vowed to strive to train in all aspects, strictly implement the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State, together with the Provincial People's Committee to unite, innovate, be creative, determined and resolute in directing and operating, properly performing the assigned duties and tasks. In the immediate future, he will continue to focus on directing solutions, striving to complete the socio-economic development goals in 2024, the goals and tasks set out in the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress. He hopes to continue to receive the attention, leadership, direction and support of the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee, the joint efforts and unanimity of the members of the Provincial People's Committee, heads of departments, branches, localities, and the staff, civil servants and public employees to create a combined strength, resolutely overcome all difficulties and challenges, successfully carry out assigned political tasks, creating momentum for faster and more sustainable development of the province in the coming years.

Comrade Nguyen Tien Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council affirmed: With strict processes and procedures, on the basis of Party regulations and State laws, the Provincial People's Council has carried out the content of personnel work ensuring democracy, objectivity, compliance with regulations and with high concentration and unity. On behalf of the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and Provincial People's Committee, he congratulated and believed that the comrades in their new positions would continue to make many important contributions to the common development of the province, the industry and the locality.
