(GLO)- On August 21, the Party Committee of Ayun Pa ward (Gia Lai province) solemnly held the 1st Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term with the presence of 160 delegates representing 1,307 Party members in the entire Party Committee.

Attending the Congress were comrade Thai Thanh Binh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee; representatives of leaders of a number of provincial departments, branches and sectors; ward leaders of different periods and representatives of leaders of neighboring communes.

Ayun Pa Ward was established on the basis of merging 4 wards: Cheo Reo, Hoa Binh , Doan Ket, Song Bo with a natural area of ​​17.61 km2 and a population of 26,820 people.

After 5 years of implementing the Resolution of the Party Committee of 4 wards for the 2020-2025 term, the economy continued to grow steadily, the economic structure shifted in a positive direction and increased the proportion of industry and construction. Budget revenue increased 3.14 times compared to 2020. Urban infrastructure received investment attention with many roads, schools, medical stations, lighting systems, community houses... being newly built and renovated.

Labor production movements have developed strongly, people's lives have been improved both materially and spiritually. The average income per capita is currently 65.16 million VND/year. The poverty rate by the end of 2025 is estimated to decrease to 0.07%. During the term, the Ward Party Committee admitted 103 party members, ensuring standards and quality. National defense, political security, and social order and safety have been maintained.

Promoting the achieved results, in the 2025-2030 term, the Ward Party Committee strives for an average production value growth rate of 11.9%; total budget revenue in the area by 2030 reaching 30.9 billion VND; reducing the multidimensional poverty rate by 0.03%; the rate of new party members admitted annually reaching 3% or more of the total number of party members at the beginning of the term; 80% of grassroots party organizations annually completing their tasks well or better...

Speaking at the Congress, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission, Thai Thanh Binh, acknowledged and commended the achievements of the Ayun Pa Ward Party Committee in the past term. The Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission suggested that in the 2025-2030 term, the Ward Party Committee should promote the tradition of solidarity and high unity in leadership and direction; promote the role and responsibility of setting an example of the leader with the motto of clear people, clear work, clear responsibility, clear authority, clear time, clear results. Focus on developing industry in a modern direction associated with environmental protection; focus on developing trade and services; improve the quality of criteria for progressive, developed, and smart urban areas.

The Congress announced the decisions of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on the appointment of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, and Deputy Secretary of the Ayun Pa Ward Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term. Accordingly, the Commune Party Executive Committee consists of 25 comrades. Comrade Tran Quoc Khanh was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Commune Party Committee.
