Around March every year, farmers in Ia Gri village begin cultivating arrowroot. From around August to October, rows of arrowroot bloom brilliantly across the sunny and windy plateau. At this time, along the road along the mountainside, visitors will be able to see rows of arrowroot blooming with bright red flowers, the flowers are most vibrant when the sun rises, making each branch of flower more vibrant and reaching up to the blue sky.

Near the end of the year, people will harvest tubers to process into vermicelli flour, producing agricultural products with the brand name of Chu Dang Ya volcanic area.

Dong rieng is a herbaceous plant also known as banana taro or banana potato. Dong rieng flowers often grow in clusters, rising from the branches, with small, long buds, and slightly flared flower heads. Dong rieng leaves are light green with a purple edge, similar in shape to dong leaves. In particular, at the flower stem there is a honey sac, tasting on the tip of the tongue will taste a very characteristic sweet taste that attracts bees and butterflies everywhere to come and suck nectar, creating a joyful dance among the vast mountains and hills.

The path leading to the volcano is as beautiful as a peaceful countryside painting. Following the path at the foot of the mountain, woven by rows of canna flowers shimmering in the sunlight, I slowly enjoyed the flowers. Each flower bed stretched towards the horizon, the sun grew bluer, the flowers grew more intense, creating a poetic and beautiful scene.

Chu Dang Ya is the remains of an extinct volcano. Over millions of years, volcanic lava has left Chu Dang Ya with fertile basalt land, making the trees here green all year round. Interspersed with the red color of the cassia is the deep green color of the corn, potato, pumpkin fields... cultivated by the people around this area.

Not only is the plant bringing economic value to local people, the fields of arrowroot flowers are also an attractive destination for those who want to return to beautiful natural spaces.

Early in the morning, when the dew drops still linger on the leaves, each slender, sparkling flower branch enjoys the essence of heaven and earth, proudly stretching out to show off its beauty. The scene at this time seems real and dreamy, amidst the green space, painting a beautiful landscape amidst the deep green hills.

The afternoon sun and the deep colors of the flowers make the scene even more special. Each branch of red flowers gently weaves between the green buds. The red flowers form into clusters, the carpet of flowers serves as a backdrop for flower lovers to nestle in the middle of nature, let their souls follow the wind, and capture moments, marking a season of red flowers on Chu Dang Ya mountain.

It is difficult for anyone to resist the fragrance and color of flowers when they are at their most brilliant. The beauty of flowers has the effect of healing and soothing the soul, making people who enjoy flowers feel light and peaceful. Therefore, seasonal flower tourism is a popular form and has become a trend today. Enjoying the season of canna flowers on Chu Dang Ya mountain is an attractive choice for tourists, bringing sublime emotions, contributing to the beauty of each trip.

When exploited in the right direction, balancing tourism development and the environment, seasonal tourism of the canna flowers in the village at the foot of Chu Dang Ya mountain not only creates a unique feature for this destination, but also creates a green tourism product associated with preserving the natural beauty and local culture.

After the season of red arrowroot flowers, around October every year, coming to this place, visitors can immerse themselves in the vastness of wild yellow wild sunflowers stretching from the foot of the mountain to the top of the hill. It is a beautiful dry season gift that nature bestows on this impressive destination.
