An Vinh commune strives to escape poverty by the end of 2030

Attending the congress were leaders of specialized agencies advising and assisting the Provincial Party Committee; along with 160 official delegates representing 737 party members in 29 grassroots party organizations under the Commune Party Committee.

An Vinh Commune Party Committee was established on the basis of merging the Party Committees of 3 communes: An Trung, An Dung and An Vinh (old). An Vinh is a mountainous commune, in the particularly difficult area of Gia Lai province. During the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committees of the communes before the merger have enhanced their leadership and direction roles in implementing and achieving many important results in various fields.

In particular, the total product value in 2025 will reach over 215 billion VND, with the total product value growth rate reaching 7.8%; forest coverage rate reaching 84.78%; the commune maintains and improves quality to meet the criteria according to the national criteria set on health ; 100% of commune-level cadres, civil servants and public employees have qualifications meeting the prescribed standards; the rate of new party member development reaches 3.4%/year...

Along with evaluating the results achieved in the past term, the Congress focused on analyzing, discussing, and proposing many solutions to successfully implement 29 targets in the 2025-2030 term, with the goal of striving to bring An Vinh out of poverty by the end of 2030, with the annual multidimensional poverty reduction rate of 5.8%.

Accordingly, the Party Committee of An Vinh commune has identified 3 breakthroughs to focus on leadership and direction for implementation, including: developing specialized agricultural production according to the model of large-scale farms and ranches, gradually forming a product linkage chain; developing aquaculture associated with developing various types of tourism; promoting human resource development to serve the economic restructuring and meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation.

Speaking at the Congress, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Truong Van Dat suggested that in the new development space, the Party Committee of An Vinh commune needs to continue to innovate thinking in leadership, management, operation, and implementation of tasks in the spirit of "6 clear" to meet the requirements and assigned tasks. In particular, it is necessary to continue to promote the spirit of solidarity and unity within the entire Party Committee; focus on training and fostering the team of cadres and civil servants.

Agreeing with the system of targets, goals and breakthroughs that have been set out, comrade Truong Van Dat suggested that the Party Committee of An Vinh commune needs to clearly define the economic structure, choose industries and fields that are suitable to reality as pillars, thereby promoting economic development, especially in the field of agriculture and forestry, which is the strength of the locality.

At the same time, it is necessary to focus on investing in completing the connecting transport infrastructure; effectively promoting the unique cultural values of the Hre people to develop cultural tourism, community tourism, contributing to improving the lives of ethnic minorities. At the same time, there must be fundamental solutions to accelerate the poverty reduction process, striving for An Vinh to escape the list of poor communes by 2030.

The Congress announced the decisions of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on appointing the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and key positions in the Standing Party Committee and Inspection Committee of the An Vinh Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
