Thai Nguyen: Receiving and coordinating more than 150 tons of goods and necessities

According to information from the Thai Nguyen Provincial Red Cross, as of October 12, 2025, the Association has received and coordinated more than 150 tons of goods and necessities to serve the rescue and relief work to overcome damage caused by floods in the province. Including: 4,050 boxes of instant noodles; 45 tons of rice; 7,100 boxes of filtered water; 950 sets of clothes, 7,600 blankets, medicine, life jackets... and more than 17,000 meals (rice, sticky rice, banh chung, cakes, bread,...) from 63 volunteer groups, with a total estimated value of over 8 billion VND.

Relief goods reception and coordination area.

The Provincial Red Cross Society gathered relief goods at the People's Committee of the old Tan Lap ward (address: No. 511, 3/2 street, Tich Luong ward) to facilitate the coordination of goods, ensuring timely delivery to people affected by storm No. 11.

To date, relief goods have been sorted, packaged and distributed to 138 locations across the province; concentrated in areas severely affected by storms, floods and isolation. Distribution has been carried out quickly and flexibly, prioritizing poor households, families in particularly difficult circumstances and isolated areas.

Currently, the work of receiving funding and support sources is being accelerated to continue coordinating for areas affected by natural disasters; ensuring no overlap or duplication in the process of distributing support sources.
