Dak Rong commune was established on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population of Kon Pne commune and Dak Rong commune (old). In the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committees of the two communes before the merger led, directed, and effectively organized the implementation of targets and tasks. In particular, the Party Committee of Dak Rong commune (old) achieved and exceeded 23/30 targets; the Party Committee of Kon Pne commune achieved and exceeded 15/24 targets.
The economy has shifted in a positive direction, with agriculture, forestry and fishery accounting for a high proportion, and trade and services increasingly expanding. Over 43.1 billion VND has been invested in socio-economic infrastructure; the rate of population participating in health insurance has reached over 97%; 4/4 schools have met national standards; people's lives have gradually improved. National defense and security have been maintained; Party building, the political system and the great national unity bloc have been strengthened. Party building and rectification work has been promoted; during the term, 69 new party members have been developed. The political system has been reorganized and streamlined; the effectiveness and efficiency of state management have been improved; the great national unity bloc has been firmly built.
Speaking at the Congress, Director of the Department of Home Affairs Pham Thi To Hai suggested that Dak Rong commune needs to improve the leadership capacity of the Party Committee; promote democracy, maintain discipline, and focus on leading the successful implementation of local political tasks.
The commune needs to quickly stabilize its organization, perfect its apparatus and political system; and urgently start implementing new policies and tasks. In addition, the locality needs to effectively organize and implement national target programs to improve socio -economic infrastructure; focus on converting the area of land for annual rotational cultivation towards planning forest planting areas associated with medicinal plant cultivation and converting to crops with high economic value.
The commune also needs to focus on building a team of cadres and party members with sufficient qualities, capacity, prestige, and equal to the task; create breakthroughs in administrative reform, build digital government to serve organizations and individuals; continue to pay attention to implementing social security work well, improving the material and spiritual life of the people, especially those with meritorious services and ethnic minorities in difficult circumstances.
At the Congress, delegates discussed and unanimously approved 28 key targets, 3 key tasks, 3 breakthroughs and groups of solutions for the 2025-2030 term.
In particular, Dak Rong commune strives for an average annual growth rate of total product value of 8.8%; by 2030, the commune will achieve 17/19 criteria for a new rural commune and build 3 new rural villages; the rate of public investment disbursement compared to the annual plan assigned by the Provincial People's Council will reach 95%; develop 2 new tourism products and form a chain linking production and consumption of agricultural products; reduce the average annual multidimensional poverty rate by 5.88%; the rate of new party members admitted annually will reach 3% compared to the total number of party members of the commune Party Committee.
The Congress announced the decisions of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on appointing the Party Executive Committee, the Standing Committee and key positions of the Dak Rong Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term. Accordingly, the Commune Party Executive Committee consists of 19 comrades; Comrade Huynh Van Nam was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Commune Party Committee.
