At the meeting, the representative of Diageo Vietnam Co., Ltd. informed about some business activities in the past time. Accordingly, Diageo is a famous British multinational corporation in alcohol and alcoholic beverages and is the largest producer of spirits in the world. Diageo is currently supplying products to 180 countries around the world with nearly 28,000 employees, with an average annual revenue of more than 24 billion USD. Diageo has a branch operating in distributing spirits products in Ninh Thuan for 30 years; on average, it contributes more than 150 billion VND to the budget each year.
Comrade Tran Quoc Nam, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee worked with Diageo Vietnam Company Limited.
Speaking at the meeting, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the business activities of Diageo Vietnam Co., Ltd. in Ninh Thuan in recent years, which have always complied with legal regulations and are the leading enterprises in tax payment to the province. He affirmed that the province will continue to create the most favorable conditions according to legal regulations for the Company's business activities. With the Company's desire to support the training courses on alcohol mixing in the province, the Provincial People's Committee will direct the Tourism Association and Vocational College to coordinate with Diageo to implement in the coming time. Thereby, contributing to the development of high-quality tourism in the province.
